A long time ago my uncle told me to check out this band that he dug back in the day called the Producers. I ended up Kazaa'ing this cheezeball anthem, She Sheila, and it was pretty entertaining. For some reason yesterday I decided to youtube it and found this amazing music video. Check it out.

Lots of stuff going on!
1) Sahan graduated from college today with a 4.0, a major in communications and a minor in history. Wow. He's a little scared though with the economy and all. I told him about this headline I saw at npr.org that read "Graduates facing worst job market in ten years." You can do it, Sahan!
2) Yazan did a lot of growing up in Dubai, UAE, as he has family there. Last Friday when he was all finished up with school he left for Dubai, where he'll be for about a month or so. We miss him SO much, ugh. Here's a picture of the three of us playing a show at my (old) house.

3) It's summer!
4) Eli, Rebecca and I spent the past couple days moving out of our house on Bremen St. and moving into our new home on Meinecke! It wasn't particularly fun moving things like Eli's piano and dryer, and we still have to clean out our old house before the end of the month. That will be even less fun. Nonetheless, we are really excited about our new home, which you can read about in the previous post. It's called "The Reservoir."
5) We're playing at Brat Fest in Madison on Sunday, May 24th at noon. Come hang out and eat (boca) brats.
6) Super last minute show TONIGHT, MAY 17th @ 1825 Oakland Ave, with A Paper Cup Band + Audrea. It's gonna be fun.
I think that's everything.

The Reservoir
We've had a lot of fun times at my house on Bremen Street, but we'll be moving on to bigger and better things come May 16th. My roommates (Eli & Rebecca) and I have big plans for our new home which we decided to refer to as the Reservoir, located at 910 E. Meinecke Avenue. It's going to be a gallery space as well as a music space. I'll post some pictures of it soon. There will be other news to come, but as for now we've gotta worry about finishing the semester and moving out. I'll be trying to remember how fast time can go by.

p.s. in August there will be an Orchid Collective Showcase at the Reservoir ft. Twin Cats, Doby Watson, Matt Dill, Danger Stranger + Postmark

What we did last weekend...
Last Friday we had a show at the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center. It's a really awesome place for a show, with its hard wood floors, nice owner and art gallery. My friend who organized the event showed me a video that someone took at the show. Check it out...
we also had an excellent pizza party at home afterwards, which featured frozen pizza, (tater) tots, orange crush and the movie Friday.

Danger Stranger on Blogspot
Welcome to our blog!
I thought it'd be fun to share what we've been doing, as well as other nuggets of interest. Today our friends Quiet Bears have a new album out entitled Future(s) Blues and a reissue of their amazing album We Are All Legend, both available at Orchid Collective.
In other news, there is a Danger Stranger show on Friday at the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center. It is a fundraiser for the facility and is one of the first showings of our new lineup. We'll be playing the songs from our EP and some new songs. For further details on show dates you should stop by our myspace page.
Well, that's about it for now. I'll try and keep the posts coming though!
